The world is getting smaller every single day. No, we're not talking about size, we're talking about reach. Today, 3.3 billion people are engaged with digital and social media. And, it is estimated that 1 million people per day use social media for the first time! That means that we can reach completely around the world and right next in a matter of a few seconds. The story we have to tell is the greatest one on earth, and we're looking for a digital media guru to help us take a leap forward.
Pinelake is one of the fastest-growing (and largest) churches in America, and we're just so bold to believe that God wants to change our entire state, one life change story at a time. Even more, every week our app, streaming worship experiences, and social media reaches from France to Lesotho, from Brazil to Boston and everywhere between.
If you're passionate about living out your calling through social and digital media, you might be just who we've been hoping to find.
We'll connect quickly if you:

• Are passionate about social a digital media and the impact it can have on expanding the reach of ministry;
• Have experience with content strategies and possess a very high attention to detail;
• Study and follow Content Management Systems, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media trends and features to stay current;
• Love contributing to a team by defining and implementing measurable strategies to meet our digital presence objectives in connection with the entire communications team; and,
• Creatively dream about new ways to engage our constituents and have the organizational "know-how" to get it done.

You'll thrive with us if you:

• Love working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Enjoy the creative process and respond well to feedback;
• Value collaboration, but can work independently; and,
• Believe the story of Jesus is the most incredibly powerful story known to man.

A few must-haves:

• A bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, or Journalism and 1-3 years of experience in the field;
• Love working on a team as much as you love working online;
• A heart and drive to build a servant-leader ministry team;
• Excellent time management skills and rarely get frustrated when there's a time crunch;
• Incredible communication, writing, and decision-making skills; and,
• A "get it done, won't take no for an answer" personality.

 
OUR STORY:
The story of Pinelake Church began in February of 1971 in Brandon, Mississippi in a mobile chapel in a rural area near The Reservoir. By God's grace and power, our faith family has grown into a dynamic church spanning five cities throughout our state -- Clinton, Madison, Oxford, the Reservoir, and Starkville. Weekly, we serve over 12,000 people, but we celebrate stories of life change one person at a time.
