Job Description:Job SummaryThe Journey Church is seeking a new supportive role as the Graphic Designer & Digital Marketer in our communications department. This is an exciting opportunity to serve full time in the communications for a growing multi-campus church. The graphic designer and digital marketer will provide design and online marketing for the local church. The individual will be a creative, innovative, strategic thinker, and a results-driven marketer. 


Duties and Responsibilities

• Graphic Design
  • Design ministry and church-wide communication pieces and build/package final artwork for release to ministry teams and digital mediums
  • Work and equip the ministry leader and team to update and produce digital content
  • Provide new and innovative ideas to move design forward in the church

• Digital Marketing
  • Develop and implement integrated online ad campaigns for Google & Facebook
  • Create content and help manage the church’s web presence
  • Create content and help manage the church’s social media platforms
  • Create content and help manage email marketing campaigns 
  • Manage and Update the Journey’s mobile application via SubSplash
  • Design banner ads, animated Gifs, and other video ads for online reaching
  • Manage Google Analytics, console, tag manager, and places for business
  • Create and manage SMS and Voice broadcast campaigns

Qualifications

• Possesses a heart and passion for the local church, a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and a passion to use communication to reach and grow others
• Strong understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Acrobat (Premiere and After Effects is a plus)
• Strong writing/editing and verbal communication skills
• Strong track record as an implementer of digital marketing
• Good team player who is open to suggestions and creative ideas
• Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of marketing and communication tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or Marketing preferred or comparable experience
